The Independent Journalism Center is launching a new website that will serve as the main platform where users can learn about the organization\u2019s activity. Thus, www.cji.md<\/a>\u00a0will become not just a source of information to present IJC\u2019s over 25-year background, but also a portal with opportunities for journalists as well as media consumers. Meanwhile,\u00a0www.media-azi.md<\/a>, which until now has housed information about IJC and the opportunities it provided, will remain a resource for and about the Moldovan media community, also available to those who wish to follow or are interested in media development.<\/p>\r\n

On\u00a0www.cji.md<\/a>, one can find out about the latest activities taking place on each separate line of IJC\u2019s focus: training and assistance, public policies and research, media education, and legal assistance.<\/p>\r\n

The new website will also provide access to details of the year\u2019s main events organized by IJC, such as the Press Club’s Annual Gala or the World Press Freedom Day. The platform will also be used to inform about IJC\u2019s campaigns and to publish declarations and petitions written and signed by IJC\u2019s team.<\/p>\r\n

IJC is the first media NGO in Moldova supporting, since 1994, the free press and helping journalists who have committed to uphold the standards of professional ethics.<\/p>\r\n

For over 25 years, IJC has been an advocate for the right to freedom of expression and the right to access information of public interest.\u00a0Several years ago, the organization started to train advocates for critical thinking who are becoming more numerous year by year. Additionally, IJC constantly raises awareness about the danger of disinformation and the need for authorities\u2019 accountability.<\/p>\r\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]
