The IJC encouraged teachers in these regions to offer the optional Media Education course and thus become messengers for quality journalism as well as critical thinking.<\/li>\r\n \t<li><strong>Activities:<\/strong> The IJC conducted 15 media education lessons for students and six training sessions in Media Education for about 90 Russian-speaking teachers and teachers in the northern and southern districts of the Republic of Moldova, including in the Gagauzia Autonomous Territorial Unit.<\/li>\r\n \t<li><strong> Results:<\/strong> 107 Russian-speaking teachers and teachers were trained to teach the Media Education course, and 508 students from 15 schools participated in 15 media education lessons.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul><div class=\"pvc_clear\"><\/div><p id=\"pvc_stats_14331\" class=\"pvc_stats total_only  \" data-element-id=\"14331\" style=\"\"><i class=\"pvc-stats-icon medium\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><svg aria-hidden=\"true\" focusable=\"false\"
