Circulation of such messages is not limited to the local level and is not related only to pro-Russian media channels. They are amplified by users from many countries and individual TikTok accounts which increase credibility and impact of such fake news items due to their visibility and interaction.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\r\n \t<li>Within the Gagauz information ecosystem, the conviction of Evghenia Gutul is the crucial narrative. The criminal case is presented as \u201cattempted destruction of the autonomy\u201d and an \u201cattack\u201d against the Gagauz population in its entirety; Russia is explicitly referred to as validation of the narrative about the \u201cpolitically motivated conviction,\u201d and support for Gutul is presented as large-scale activity.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>The information ecosystem in the Transnistrian region alternates local and current content with particular narratives; in August, they concerned Vadim Krasnoselski, the war in Ukraine, and, in particular, de-legitimization of the voting. The \u201cinsufficient number\u201d of ballot boxes on the left bank of the Dniester for the parliamentary elections to be held in September is \u201cpackaged\u201d as a preliminarily planned decision aimed at political sabotage, demonstration of fear from the authorities in Chisinau, and the lack of democracy.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<table width=\"624\">\r\n<tbody>\r\n<tr>\r\n<td width=\"624\">\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>WHICH CHANNELS WERE MONITORED<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On August\u00a01-15, we followed <strong>17<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>TikTok accounts<\/strong> and searched for <strong>10<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>hashtags<\/strong> about the Transnistrian region and the ATU\u00a0of Gagauzia. This list included media sources, anonymous sources, and bloggers. As of the day of publication of the analysis, the videos published by the 17\u00a0monitored accounts had over <strong>8.8<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>million<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>views<\/strong> in August.<\/p>\r\n<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n<\/tbody>\r\n<\/table>\r\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=&#8221;51490&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221; css=&#8221;&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>GAGAUZIA<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The most important event discussed within the Gagauz information space was the fact that Evghenia Gutul, the head of the autonomy, was sentenced to prison; her case was related to the illegal financing of the former Sor Party. The topic has been covered by various sources in the context of several disinformation narratives.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\">\r\n \t<li><strong>An attempt to destroy Gagauzia\u2019s autonomy<\/strong><\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A narrative appealing to emotions and national identity is that the arrest of the head of the region is an attack against Gagauzia\u2019s autonomy. In a<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@nicolai_balan_\/video\/7535596989476605240\"> news item<\/a> published by Canal\u00a05 with over 38000\u00a0views, shared by <em>@nicolai_balan_<\/em>, a channel with over 53000\u00a0followers, activist Mihail Vlah speaks about the history of Gagauzia, saying that autonomy was obtained due to efforts and sacrifice, it was not \u201cgiven for granted\u201d from Chisinau. He accuses the central government of breaching the provisions of the Constitution and the special status of the region and of trying to gradually annul the prerogatives of the autonomy.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cWe keep trying to explain to the people that the authorities attempt to set the autonomy on fire from within, they\u2019re trying to light this match in order to subsequently use it as a lever for pressure, to take control of Gagauzia in their own hands\u201d <em>(in Russian: \u201e\u041c\u044b \u043f\u044b\u0442\u0430\u0435\u043c\u0441\u044f \u043e\u0431\u044a\u044f\u0441\u043d\u0438\u0442\u044c \u043b\u044e\u0434\u044f\u043c, \u0447\u0442\u043e \u0432\u043b\u0430\u0441\u0442\u044c \u0438\u043c\u0435\u043d\u043d\u043e \u043f\u044b\u0442\u0430\u0435\u0442\u0441\u044f \u043f\u043e\u0434\u0436\u0435\u0447\u044c \u0432\u043d\u0443\u0442\u0440\u0438 \u0430\u0432\u0442\u043e\u043d\u043e\u043c\u0438\u044e, \u043f\u044b\u0442\u0430\u0435\u0442\u0441\u044f \u044d\u0442\u0443 \u0441\u043f\u0438\u0447\u043a\u0443 \u043f\u043e\u0434\u0436\u0435\u0447\u044c, \u0447\u0442\u043e\u0431\u044b \u0447\u0435\u0440\u0435\u0437 \u044d\u0442\u043e \u0432\u043a\u043b\u044e\u0447\u0438\u0442\u044c, \u0437\u043d\u0430\u0435\u0442\u0435, \u0440\u044b\u0447\u0430\u0433 \u0441\u043b\u0435\u0434\u0443\u044e\u0449\u0435\u0433\u043e \u0434\u0430\u0432\u043b\u0435\u043d\u0438\u044f, \u0447\u0442\u043e\u0431\u044b \u0441\u0434\u0435\u043b\u0430\u0442\u044c \u0442\u0430\u043a, \u0447\u0442\u043e\u0431\u044b \u0432\u0437\u044f\u0442\u044c \u0413\u0430\u0433\u0430\u0443\u0437\u0438\u044e \u0432 \u0440\u0443\u0447\u043d\u043e\u0435 \u0443\u043f\u0440\u0430\u0432\u043b\u0435\u043d\u0438\u0435\u201d).<\/em><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">To continue the narrative regarding the attack against the autonomy of Gagauzia, <u>another video<\/u> by Canal\u00a05 represents a report which states that the arrest of Evghenia Gutul caused a powerful reaction from the local authorities. An important point emphasized in the interviews included in the video is the idea that the arrest concerns not only the head of the region, but the entire population of Gagauzia and even the Moldovan nation as a whole. These speeches urge people to unite in order to protect their autonomy, remarking that Gagauzia should address the international structures for support and organize acts of civil disobedience against the Moldovan authorities.<\/p>\r\n<strong>2. Moldova has maintained its independence due to the Gagauz nation<\/strong>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Another narrative emphasizes the Gagauz nation\u2019s special merit in maintaining Moldova\u2019s sovereignty; it is opposed to the idea that the arrest of the head of the region will facilitate \u201cselling the country\u201d to the West. In a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@mihaistari.ru\/video\/7535422752275189014\">video<\/a> with over 230000\u00a0views, blogger <em>@mihaistari.ru<\/em> accuses Maia Sandu of arresting the head of the region, and adds the idea of the Gagauz people\u2019s special merit in preserving the state\u2019s independence. \u201cDue to Gagauzia\u2019s autonomy, Moldova still remains a sovereign country today. This is exactly what Evghenia Gutul is arrested for \u2013 she prevents you from selling the sovereignty of the Republic of Moldova.\u201d The same blogger, in another <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@mihaistari.ru\/video\/7535047552044043522\">video<\/a> with over 70000\u00a0views, emphasizes the idea that the Gagauz nation will revenge for this attack: \u201cYou should know the Gagauz people won\u2019t forgive you. And now, Chisinau can expect the worst things imaginable from the Gagauz people.\u201d<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@gagauziya.radio.tv\/video\/7537249886605954360\">post<\/a> by <em>@gagauziya.radio.tv<\/em> confirms the same idea with a video of an episode from a public demonstration in support of the head of the region, where it is mentioned that the current governance keeps destroying the state and the legal system, persecuting political opponents, and breaching the legislation. The speaker uses powerful emotional words to create the image of total destruction. The speech also includes a reference to the threat to the state\u2019s sovereignty and appeals to the feelings of identity and sharing the national values and history, while the previous efforts for obtaining independence are opposed to the alleged actions of the current governance: \u201cThis is total destruction of all the things for the sake of which the society of the Republic of Moldova achieved our country\u2019s independence\u201d <em>(in Russian: \u201c\u041f\u043e\u043b\u043d\u043e\u0435 \u0443\u043d\u0438\u0447\u0442\u043e\u0436\u0435\u043d\u0438\u0435 \u0432\u0441\u0435\u0433\u043e \u0442\u043e\u0433\u043e, \u0440\u0430\u0434\u0438 \u0447\u0435\u0433\u043e \u043e\u0431\u0449\u0435\u0441\u0442\u0432\u043e \u0432 \u0420\u0435\u0441\u043f\u0443\u0431\u043b\u0438\u043a\u0435 \u041c\u043e\u043b\u0434\u043e\u0432\u0430 \u0434\u043e\u0431\u0438\u0432\u0430\u043b\u043e\u0441\u044c \u043d\u0435\u0437\u0430\u0432\u0438\u0441\u0438\u043c\u043e\u0441\u0442\u0438 \u043d\u0430\u0448\u0435\u0439 \u0441\u0442\u0440\u0430\u043d\u044b\u201d).<\/em><\/p>\r\n<strong>3. Evghenia Gutul has many supporters at the local and the international level<\/strong>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">An enormous wave of support the head of the region has locally and internationally is a frequently mentioned narrative. A<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@gagauzia24\/video\/7535062541068766470\"> news item<\/a> with over 85000\u00a0views published by the <em>@gagauzia24<\/em>\u00a0channel describes the sentencing of the head of Gagauzia, presenting only the opinions of those who support her, without providing any context about the facts or the sentencing itself. The news item mentions the \u201cattorneys\u201d who regard the decision as \u201cshameful for Moldova and for the justice system in general.\u201d The images following this statement demonstrate a group of protesters supporting Evghenia Gutul. The same news item also mentions that the head of the autonomy is also supported from abroad, and a picture of Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of Russian President Vladimir Putin, is shown as a hint.<\/p>\r\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_gallery lightbox=&#8221;mfp-gallery&#8221; images=&#8221;51499&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221; css=&#8221;&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In another <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@vestnikpmr\/video\/7535035193661377797\">post<\/a> published by the Transnistrian channel titled <em>@vestnikpmr<\/em>, Russia\u2019s support is emphasized by publishing the Russian authorities\u2019 official reaction to the news about Evghenia Gutul\u2019s conviction. It also contains the image of Peskov and his statements: he believes the decision is politically motivated and regards it is an attempt to exert illegal pressure on political opponents during the election campaign. In addition, it is mentioned that opposition faces every possible restriction in Moldova, people are deprived of the opportunity to vote for the candidates they prefer, and the rules and standards of democracy are being breached in many ways.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><em>TikTokers <\/em><\/strong><strong>and anonymous pages defending the head of the region<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The narratives in question were taken over and amplified by active TikTok users from both the Republic of Moldova and the other countries.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Ion Ripa<\/strong> also known as King Kong is a well-known <em>TikToker <\/em>from the Republic of Moldova with over 160000\u00a0followers and almost 4\u00a0million\u00a0likes. He gained his popularity due to his \u201cmotivational\u201d posts in which he promoted toxic masculinity, and since June\u00a02025, he started producing political content on a regular basis, actively sharing Ilan Sor\u2019s narratives, along with the other less famous bloggers.<\/p>\r\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_gallery lightbox=&#8221;mfp-gallery&#8221; images=&#8221;51505&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221; css=&#8221;&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">During the analyzed period of time, Ion Ripa dedicated four videos to Evghenia Gutul presenting her in a positive way and describing her conviction as the governance\u2019s attack against the entire Gagauz nation.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The <em>TikToker<\/em> affirms, for instance, that the politicians from Chisinau consciously put pressure on the autonomy: \u201cSometimes, they don\u2019t have any voting ballots in Russian, sometimes, economic entities are faced with certain problems, and sometimes, they just don\u2019t like the head of the region.\u201d Quoting a propaganda article, Ripa says that \u201cone day, the residents of Gagauzia will start a rebellion,\u201d and also mentions that \u201cwe definitely don\u2019t need any more conflicts with Gagauzia.\u201d In another video dated July\u00a014\u00a0with over 160000\u00a0views, the <em>TikToker<\/em> says that \u201cGagauzians are revolting,\u201d and that Evghenia Gutul will be defended by the European lawyers, which is \u201cquite a drama for the yellow ones.\u201d<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Mihai Stari<\/strong> is another <em>TikToker<\/em> relevant to the monitoring. He is not a citizen of the Republic of Moldova, but he has mentioned that his father was born in our country; in his videos, he also affirms that he used to be Maia Sandu\u2019s neighbor, and that the head of the state banned him from entering the country because she did not like the fact that he \u201corganized charity concerts for supporting women suffering from cancer.\u201d In his posts which he started publishing since April\u00a02025, Stari often refers to conspiracy theories, vehemently supports the Russian Federation, and promotes such politicians as George Simion, Calin Georgescu, Natalia Morari, and Victoria Furtuna, mentioning he intends to vote for the latter during the elections on September\u00a028.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The <em>TikToker<\/em> dedicated five videos to Evghenia Gutul\u2019s arrest. In one of them (which has almost 230000\u00a0views), he claims that \u201cMaia Sandu can\u2019t sell Moldova thanks to the Gagauz autonomy,\u201d and that Gutul was arrested because \u201cshe prevents the president from selling the country\u2019s sovereignty.\u201d<\/p>\r\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_gallery lightbox=&#8221;mfp-gallery&#8221; images=&#8221;51509&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221; css=&#8221;&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In another video, Mihai Stari describes the conviction of the ex-secretary of the former Sor Party as an attack against the Gagauz nation as a whole, mentioning that \u201cthey won\u2019t forgive\u201d Maia Sandu, and nowadays, she should expect \u201cthe worst things for Chisinau from the Gagauz nation.\u201d In his post dated August\u00a014, the TikToker affirms that Evghenia Gutul will be defended by the international lawyers in the court of the last resort, and the Republic of Moldova will have to pay compensation of 1\u00a0billion\u00a0Euros \u201cfrom the citizens\u2019 pockets.\u201d<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Kristina Gr\u0103ie\u0219te<\/strong> is another TikToker who promotes basically the same narratives about Evghenia Gutul. Also on August\u00a014, she published a post saying that the case of the head of the autonomy could finally reach the ECtHR and the UN after the foreign lawyers intervene, and this fact is likely to result in \u201charsh restrictions against the Moldovan justice system.\u201d<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In one of her videos with almost 170000\u00a0views, the TikToker affirms that \u201cmothers with two kids become political prisoners while real criminals are released from jail pursuant to the Law on Amnesty signed by Maia Sandu.\u201d This manipulative association technique is also used by Ion Ripa, who mentions the case of Nicanor Ciochina, Bolduresti mayor, who caused a fatal accident involving a child.<\/p>\r\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_gallery lightbox=&#8221;mfp-gallery&#8221; images=&#8221;51512&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221; css=&#8221;&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Kristina Gr\u0103ie\u0219te also tries to present the decision to convict Evghenia Gutul as an attack aimed against the entire region, mentioning that Gagauzia was \u201cdecapitated\u201d in this way, and Chisinau is supposedly \u201cexperimenting\u201d with the autonomy, which may take the country to \u201cthe verge of conflict.\u201d<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Another propagandist who supports the Russian Federation regularly covers the topics related to international politics; according to our monitoring data, she is mostly followed by users from Ukraine, the USA, Kazakhstan, Belarus, and Germany. Her account is titled <strong><em>@tak_y_zhivu<\/em><\/strong> and is managed from Spain.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The TikToker \u201cinforms\u201d her audience that the protests in the Republic of Moldova do not cease after Evghenia Gutul was sentenced on an \u201centirely falsified\u201d case. According to her, Maia Sandu does not care about the citizens\u2019 security because she is a Romanian citizen, and \u201cseveral people died\u201d as a result of the confrontations between Evghenia Gutul\u2019s supporters and the Police, which is a gross fake intended for foreign followers.<\/p>\r\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_gallery lightbox=&#8221;mfp-gallery&#8221; images=&#8221;51515&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221; css=&#8221;&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the same video, the propagandist also affirms that Transnistria and the ATU of Gagauzia are \u201cRussian lands,\u201d and both of them were annexed to Moldova pursuant to the provisions which stipulate their autonomy; after that, she asks a rhetorical question, \u201cWhy should Russia give up its own pieces of land?\u201d<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Dina Carpinschi<\/strong> is another pro-Russian propagandist with over 55000\u00a0followers on TikTok. After Moscow\u2019s large-scale invasion of Ukraine broke out, she has been repeatedly attacking Kiev in her videos. Currently, Carpinschi mentions that she plans to be a candidate for the parliamentary elections in the Republic of Moldova.<\/p>\r\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_gallery lightbox=&#8221;mfp-gallery&#8221; images=&#8221;51518&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221; css=&#8221;&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In a video viewed by over 50000\u00a0users, Carpinschi calls the protest organized in the ATU of Gagauzia in support of Evgenia Gutul a scene of \u201cprovocations caused by the police.\u201d She accuses the police staff of snatching protesters\u2019 bags while \u201cwearing civilian clothes,\u201d hinting that the authorities had intentionally generated the situation by means of manipulations. The TikToker later directly threatens the police, fueling her audience\u2019s distrust of the state\u2019s security institutions and trying to shatter their legitimacy.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In another video, Dina Carpinschi describes Evghenia Gutul as a victim, speaking about her child to emotionally manipulate the audience. She tells the residents of Gagauzia that the sentence is a \u201cslap in everyone\u2019s face,\u201d and that \u201cMaia Sandu signed her own sentence by signing this order.\u201d<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Fake accounts and AI \u201ccondemn\u201d Gutul\u2019s arrest<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We also detected several fake accounts which repeat the above narratives. For instance, an account titled <em>@nasha_moldavasha<\/em> got 45000\u00a0views discussing the international lawyers who will supposedly help release Evghenia Gutul.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The same narrative was shared by an account titled <em>@igor.ok7908<\/em>. The other posts on the same page mention that the UN regards the conviction of Evghenia Gutul as politically motivated, and some of its posts in favor of the head of the autonomy and criticizing Maia Sandu are AI-generated.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Another fake account titled <em>@palundr<\/em> affirms that there are no witnesses who could confirm Evghenia Gutul\u2019s guilt, thus suggesting that her conviction is presumably political.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">An account titled <em>@moldovaglore<\/em> published an AI-generated video in which a person says that they will join the protests because the head of the region was convicted for \u201ctruth and love for her nation,\u201d while <em>@hukspravka<\/em> says that the illegal financing Evghenia Gutul is convicted for was calculated incorrectly, because the figures were rounded and added using an Excel spreadsheet, \u201csketched on the back of an envelope.\u201d<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Another fake account titled <em>@starzanka4<\/em> started publishing manipulative information even before the 2024\u00a0presidential elections. To present Evghenia Gutul as a victim, its authors posted the reactions of a number of citizens who believe the head of the autonomy was convicted unfairly.<\/p>\r\n&nbsp;\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>THE TRANSNISTRIAN REGION<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">TikTok channels dedicated to the Transnistrian information space mainly cover everyday issues of social interest, such as prices, local events such as introducing electronic payment in public transport, or other local decisions. Nevertheless, several channels share local police videos which demonstrate persons who are being questioned for having committed certain crimes. For instance, the <strong><em>@_pridnestrovie<\/em><\/strong> channel with over 14000\u00a0followers, which names itself a \u201cTransnistrian daily newspaper,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@_pridnestrovie\/video\/7534598320539307320\">frequently<\/a> posts such videos with the comments by the moderator. This content demonstrates the local practice of publicly divulging information regarding crimes and individuals involved in them, and this method is used by the authorities to demonstrate their competence.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">During this period of time, the monitored channels frequently discussed the rumors about the disappearance of Vadim Krasnoselski, the self-proclaimed leader of the region, from the public view, presumably for the reason that he was supposed to be replaced by Vitali Ignatiev. The <strong><em>@listpmr<\/em><\/strong> channel with over 76000\u00a0followers repeatedly covered this message in several <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@listpmr\/photo\/7533823452692696351\">videos<\/a>. Another regional channel titled <strong><em>@vestnikpmr<\/em><\/strong>, which is less popular (over 6000\u00a0followers) but more active in terms of publishing its posts on a daily basis, published a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@vestnikpmr\/video\/7538503151830322488\">refutation<\/a> of these rumors, quoting a statement by Krasnoselski. From its local sections, the audience usually learns positive news about the Transnistrian region or the news which confirm the idea of the so-called Transnistrian identity. One can find out from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@vestnikpmr\/video\/7536878773174668550\">this<\/a> newscast that the arrival of tourists in the region increased in\u00a02025, in particular, in July, when their number doubled compared to\u00a02022. One more local news items tells us about a thesis defended at the university and highly assessed by the Transnistrian and Russian experts, which refers to preserving the population in the PMR. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@vestnikpmr\/video\/7534442808040525112\">Another newscast<\/a> informs us about the law which prohibits the propaganda of non-traditional sexual relations, gender reassignment, and refusal to have children, which implies the risk of fines. In the international section, the news items are focused on Russia and Ukraine. While the news items about Russia cover various domestic social and political events, those about Ukraine emphasize \u201cdemoralization\u201d of the Ukrainian nation during the war. One news item from<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@vestnikpmr\/video\/7534442808040525112\"> this newscast<\/a> reports that every fifth Ukrainian residing in Poland applies for Polish citizenship, and that \u201cbusinessmen and students seem to feel comfortable in a foreign country,\u201d while another material in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@vestnikpmr\/video\/7537048795100515640\">this newscast<\/a> affirms that, in Ukraine, support for the war keeps decreasing across all the regions and among all the age groups.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In its posts, <em>@vestnikpmr<\/em> insistently focuses on the number of polling stations in the Transnistrian region in the context of discussions about reducing their number. A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@vestnikpmr\/video\/7538729278406495493\">cartoon<\/a> depicts the population of the region deprived of the right to vote by the Republic of Moldova. The comment accompanying the image says that the authorities are reluctant to grant the right to vote to Moldovan citizens residing in Transnistria because they are afraid of losing the elections.<\/p>\r\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=&#8221;51521&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221; css=&#8221;&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The same narrative was promoted by a number of bloggers from Chisinau, as well as by some fake accounts which support Ilan Sor.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The \u201cinsufficient number\u201d of ballot boxes in Transnistria was also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@king_kong_md\/video\/7538764948315311366?lang=ro-RO\">mentioned<\/a> by <strong>Ion Ripa<\/strong> (King Kong), who rhetorically asks, \u201cWhere is democracy?\u201d and names the authorities in Chisinau \u201ca bunch of cowards.\u201d The same topic was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@kristian.com01\/video\/7539156204866637089?lang=ro-RO\">discussed<\/a> by <strong>Kristina Gr\u0103ie\u0219te<\/strong>, who describes the situation as \u201celectoral sabotage\u201d and \u201cdouble standards,\u201d affirming that Maia Sandu \u201cis afraid of the votes of the citizens from Transnistria.\u201d In the description to the video, she adds that \u201cany attempts to stop voting in an entire region only make distrust and polarization of society even worse.\u201d<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In addition, a number of fake accounts which previously posted messages supporting Ilan Sor published their videos about the polling stations on the left bank of the Dniester. Their list includes <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@starzanka4\/video\/7538867288267574533?lang=ro-RO\"><strong><em>@starzanka4<\/em><\/strong><\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@nasha_moldavasha\/video\/7538843776144608517?lang=ro-RO\"><strong><em>@nasha_moldavasha<\/em><\/strong><\/a>. The latter also shared a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@nasha_moldavasha\/video\/7536180444887403782?lang=ro-RO\">video<\/a> in which the energy crisis in the Transnistrian region caused by the actions of the Russian Federation is presented as \u201cChisinau\u2019s fault\u201d resulting from our country\u2019s energy independence.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The same narrative is shared by <strong>Dumitru Buimistru<\/strong>, a blogger affiliated with Ilan \u0218or, who states in a satirical <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@latebuimistru2.0\/video\/7538516966819122438?lang=ro-RO\">video <\/a>inspired by the \u201cHarry Potter\u201d movie that Igor Grosu allegedly named the citizens from the left bank of the Dniester \u201cdirty Transnistrians\u201d and used magic to block their access to voting.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It should be mentioned that some of the analyzed videos were identified by the hashtags popular in Transnistria and the ATU of Gagauzia.
