Advancing Media and Information Literacy in Moldova

- Purpose: To promote the prioritization of information and media literacy on the authorities’ agenda; to encourage the authorities to be more proactive and engaged in developing information and media literacy activities; to foster increased collaboration between governmental bodies and civil society in advancing information and media literacy initiatives.
- Activities: Development of the Interministerial Plan on Media and Information Literacy with the contribution of relevant state institutions, civil society organizations carrying out and supporting information and media literacy activities, and academia; monitoring the implementation of the Interministerial Plan on Media and Information Literacy; developing a roadmap with recommendations; organizing and conducting the Media Literacy Forum; producing the cuMinte podcast.
