Empowering citizens: combating disinformation through media literacy and critical thinking

- Purpose: The project aimed to strengthen Moldova’s societal resilience to disinformation – especially in the context of the 2025 electoral year – by enhancing media literacy, promoting critical thinking, and increasing access to trustworthy, professional media content.
- Activities: Monitoring social media and producing reports based on the monitoring results, producing the cuMINTE podcast, and publishing content on the Mediacritica platform.
- Results: Eight reports were published based on the monitoring of the Telegram platform, accompanied by video content explaining to media consumers the identified disinformation trends and the risks present on social networks. In addition, five episodes of the “cuMINTE” podcast were produced.
