Fostering Resilient And Modern Ecosystems (FRAME)

Project duration: August 2026 – October 2029
Donor: Sweden, implemented by Internews Europe
Purpose: The project aims to strengthen Moldova’s information ecosystem by fostering a sustainable independent media sector that delivers high-quality content, enhancing citizens’ resilience to disinformation, and contributing to an enabling environment that promotes press freedom and democratic participation.
Activities: Providing grants to support newsroom-based fellowship programmes; conducting training sessions for teachers in Media Education; organising the Media Education Forum and a youth camp; conducting research on the media sector; monitoring the media during elections and outside electoral periods; providing legal assistance and conducting advocacy activities in support of press freedom; organising events in the context of Press Freedom Days.

Previous Post (p) Media literacy concepts will be integrated into Russian lessons in 8th-class in schools with teaching in the languages of national minorities. The IJC and DW Akademie have trained the teachers who will implement the initiative
