SCOPE: Strengthening Non-Governmental Organizations for Participation and Engagement – Expanding the Role of Civil Society in the Republic of Moldova’s European Union Accession Process

- Purpose and objectives: Strengthening the capacities of civil society organizations to monitor, inform, and contribute to the reform process by reinforcing the legal framework in the areas of rule of law, human rights, and freedom of expression; developing a resilient, informed, and interconnected civic sector capable of engaging constructively in dialogue with public authorities.
- Activities: A long-term training programme for civil society organizations active in the fields of fundamental rights, rule of law, media, and freedom of expression at the national level; grants for the development of strategic coalitions and civil society monitoring activities; high-level roundtables involving civil society organizations, European Union institutions, regulatory authorities, and relevant ministries; thematic consultations between civil society organizations and public institutions.
