Promoting media literacy among media consumers through quality media content

- Project duration: February 2022 – March 2023
- Donor: Institute for War and Peace Reporting (IWPR)
- Purpose: The project aimed to reduce the impact of disinformation among media consumers through professional media content distributed on the Mediacritica platform and across social networks.
- Activities: Producing materials for the development of critical thinking and publishing them on the Mediacritica platform; promoting media education resources developed by the IJC among media consumers; production of the cuMINTE podcast.
- Results: The Mediacritica platform has been updated with relevant content that contributes to the development of critical thinking. The media education resources produced by the IJC were promoted among the general public and the community of teachers. In addition, the cuMINTE podcast provided a space for reflection and dialogue on media education, disinformation, and critical thinking.
